How is a Padel Court Built?

  • Padel Court Design and Planning

    First you need to design and plan your padel court. This means choosing the location, making conceptual designs and getting the necessary permissions or permits to build. Moreover in this phase you will finalise the size, type and materials of the court so that they meet international standards or client requirements.

  • Site Preparation

    Site work is key to a solid base. First, this means clearing the area, then leveling the ground, and finally removing any obstacles. A proper base therefore minimizes the risk of uneven surfaces or future structural problems.

  • Earthworks and Groundwork

    Once the site is ready, then the earthworks start to shape the base layer of the court. Specifically, this means compacting the soil, adding layers of gravel or sub-base material, and making sure the surface is stable and flat. Ultimately, good groundwork is essential for the longevity and performance of the court.

  • Drainage Installation

    To make the court all-weather playable, a drainage system is installed. As a result, this prevents water from accumulating on the surface of the court and allows quick runoff, especially for outdoor courts. Moreover, good drainage helps to preserve the court and consequently minimizes maintenance.

  • Concrete Perimeter Ring Beam

    A reinforced concrete ring beam is built around the court. Consequently, this ring beam provides structural stability and is therefore the base for attaching the enclosures like mesh and glass panels.

  • Surrounding Enclosures

    The court is surrounded by mesh and tempered glass panels. Moreover, these walls are part of padel, and players use them during the game.   • Final check and Handover

    Before the court is ready to use, a final check is done to ensure all components meet quality and safety standards. Subsequently, once approved, the court is handed over and is ready to play!

Standard Padel Court Dimensions

  • Width: 10 meters

  • Walls: 3 meters high (back walls), 4 meters (side walls)

  • Net Height: The net is set at 0.88 meters in the center and 0.92 meters at the ends.
